CONSEJO DE ABUELAS DE COLOMBIA

DEEP THREADS

A journey towards our own being will be made through the umbilical cord tissue represented by the chumbe,  under the tradition of the Misak people.
The retreat is made up of a technical part on weaving and a symbolic narrative where myths, stories and ancestral spirituality related to our own history will be addressed.
A fabric accompanied with medicinal plants, rituals and Temazcal.
Vegetarian, balanced and delicious food will be offered. Each participant will have a basic weaving kit that includes the vertical loom and weaving materials.
